    Everything is spotlessly clean and nice. A double room with a balcony has basic facilities you need. The location is marvellous, as the hotel is based to the Giraldo square❤

    It is in great location to a historic chapel, set not too far from the hotel. The rooms are elegant and luxury, with exceptionally comfortable beds.

    Modern, design hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the garden, pool, and aqueduct. The pool was heaven sent in Evora's sun and heat and was never packed or loud. Hotel exuded calm and luxury. Breakfast spread was impressive - cereals, eggs, bacon, cheeses, fruits, pastries, juices, coffee, etc. Also the hotel was a convenient 5-7 minute walk to Giraldo Square.

    When we arrived the hotel did not have our booking and the receptionist asked us to forward our confirmation email to her. Also, we were recommended a restaurant and after walking there found that it was closed on that day. This is unacceptable for a 5* hotel.

    We loved the place and its really tasty and delicious breakfast.

    The unit we got was airy and trendy with direct access to a private patio area, plenty of light, as for instance. The location was great and beautiful, just a short stroll away from Evora...

    Excellent hotel in ideal spot to visit Evora and the surrounding area. Very stylish and comfortable. Lovely big room with small private garden space. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, all speaking good English. Good buffet breakfast. Car parking in basement

    I have nothing but the very best to say about the hotel. It was an excellenet hotel. It was by far the best of the five hotels we stayed at during our 9 day trip to portugal. The room was superb, the service was great and the food was outstanding. Evora is a fascinating city and it can be used as a base to discover sites like Marvao.

    I really enjoyed the spa and the masseuse. Generallt, the staff make a true effort to make our stay an enjoyable one.

    In the pool area, we had to wait a while until the lady who was attending the bar arrived and provided towels. The pool is too small

    The hotel was beautifully furnished and our room was very comfortable and clean. The reception staff were extremely helpful but the bar staff were a bit lacking in personality and charm. Location was great and the parking was a definite asset.

    The sushi bar was advertised as open in the information in our room,but was in fact closed, and of the two white wines listed in the bar, the one we ordered was unavailable (very poor for a famous wine region). For theses reasons, we chose to eat and drink outwith the hotel.

    The spacious suite offered a lovely balcony where fresh air could flow in at night. The indoor pool provided a relaxing atmosphere after a magnificent massage. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room effectively, and the dark decor were great. Service at the front desk was sometimes lacking in warmth, even if they were helpful enough.

    To begin with I liked everything. Evora is a very cute city, but the hotel deserves a visit itself. The swimming pool is extremely clean and the whole atmosphere was simply great. Staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast is excellent.

    Family suitable but a bit pricey

    The hotel has this very nice, inviting library, where I could finally relax with a good book while the kids were at the pool. The breakfast was excellent, something I don't usually bother with, but this one really stood out, good choices and fresh, I'm telling you!

    Now, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but it still felt worth it in the end.

    eVira is a wonderful town and MAr de ar is certainly a good place to stay. Nicely located, modern, comfortable, clean, well kept, nicely managed with competent staff. Good choice! And a swimmingpool is indeed a nice thing during summertime.

    Fairly high priced - but overall okay.
